Emily's Garden was founded in 1981 in the small mountain town of Taylorsville, located in the Sierras of northern California, (population 154). The goal was to provide a line of products that combined the knowledge of herbs , flowers, exceptional ingredients, with enticing fragrances and creative packaging. Each product is made to order in small batches, to ensure a high standard of quality and freshness.

For the first 30 years Emily's Garden was primarily a wholesale business selling to high end hotels, spas, retail stores and mail order catalogs. Then in 2009 Emily's Garden opened it's first retail store on Main St. in Quincy CA and proceeded to sell retail instead of wholesale. The store offered one of a kind gifts made by small batch artisans and many things from the garden and forest made by me.  In January of 2024 I retired, closed the retail store to devote my time to my true love - my garden. I will continue to sell on this website and in the future look forward to teaching in the garden.
